For those that can't wait, here's a sneaky look at the cover of our new flyer. Keep a look out for the bright green one at Francos, Saltaire Bookshop, Salt's Mill and all good outlets in the next week or so!

Whew! What a night with Kris and Eamonn we just had! It was our biggest crowd so far and certainly took us by surprise. We managed to pack everyone in but it would be great if more people bought their tickets in advance - it would be a big help to us and the club so we can get the layout and bar staff right - not that we're complaining!
We'd like to thank everyone who came along - many for the first time - and made it such a special night. We've been getting some lovely messages via our Twitter page @TLRatSaltaire about the atmosphere and the sound. We must also give a big thank you to Kris and Eamonn, who played such a sparkling set of stupendous musicianship and beautiful songs.
Also, just a quick mention for a special guest in the audience last night, another fabulous musician and trailblazer, none other than Michael Chapman, who thoroughly enjoyed his night. Watch this space for a future gig with the great man!
So we hope we'll see you at the second night in our FAB FOLK FEBRUARY in five days on Friday! (stop it, you're sounding like Tony Blackburn - ed.)

Don't forget the first gig in our folk double this February is just one week away.
Kris Drever is one third of the mighty trio Lau, who won the Best Band Award for the fourth time at this year's ceremony in January. Don't miss this phenomenal musician who will be accompanied by another string maestro, Eamonn Coyne from Ireland, next Sunday.
Then, just five days later, we have the five-piece powerhouse that is Mawkin, a blistering 5-piece band fusing folk, world, jazz, prog and rock, they are no strangers to the cutting edge of the contemporary music scene while still retaining all the verve and mystique of ancient folk music traditions from across the globe. Bring your dancing boots for this one!

We're desperately sorry to have to tell you that this week's gig with Kelly Joe Phelps has had to be postponed. We learned late last night that Kelly Joe has damaged the Ulnar nerve in his right arm and is unable to play. He has been warned by doctors that if he continues to try, he could cause permanent damage.
The condition came on very quickly just a few days ago and can sometimes clear as quickly as it comes, but in this case it hasn't and he will now have to undergo tests to find the extent of the damage and to assess whether it can be cured by rest and physiotherapy, or if it will need surgery. Either way it is obviously a very worrying time for one of the world's great musicians and I'm sure you'll join us in wishing him a full and speedy recovery.
We will try to reschedule the show as soon as possible, but it may be some time before we know when this is possible.
We are conscious that many tickets have been sold for this gig - it would have been our biggest crowd so far, which makes it even more disappointing for us. So see below for details of how to claim your refund or transfer the money to another show.
We will be available at the club on the night to offer refunds or answer queries, but please help us to spread the word so we have as few people showing up on the night as possible!
PLEASE READ BELOW VERY CAREFULLY
For those who bought from Wegottickets, Seetickets or Jumbo Records Leeds
